The free Internet Is best enjoyed with a friend.

Spora lets you use a friend's Internet connection in another country, or share yours with them. Reach censored websites, access services back home, or help family do the same.

Get Spora

How it works

Alice wants to visit a website that's blocked in her country. Her friend Bob lives abroad and can access it.

  1. They both install Spora.

Alice installs Spora on her device. Bob installs it on his, ready to share his Internet connection.

  2. Bob shares. Alice connects.

Bob taps Share and sends Alice a link through their usual messenger. Alice opens the link in Spora and taps Connect.

  3. Alice uses Bob's connection.

Alice's traffic now goes through Bob's Internet connection. The website sees Bob's IP address. Bob keeps his device online while Alice uses the connection.

When Spora helps

Help family reach blocked websites

Share your connection with family in another country so they can reach websites available where you live.

Connect through a friend abroad

A website you need is blocked where you live. Ask someone in another country to share their connection.

Reach services back home

Living abroad? Connect through family or friends at home to use websites that require a local IP address.

Take your home connection with you

Leave a device running Spora at home and connect through it while you travel.

A home connection makes the difference.

Some websites block known VPN addresses. With Spora, they see your friend's home IP address.

A real home IP

Websites see the address of the connection your friend shares with you.

Free to use

You and your friend can use Spora without paying for it.

Harder to block

People share their own connections, so access doesn't depend on a common pool of VPN exit addresses.

Before you connect

Do I need a friend in another country?

You need a device sharing a connection where the websites you want are accessible. That can belong to someone you know, or to you.

Does the sharing device need to stay online?

Yes. It needs to keep running Spora while you use its connection.

Who should I share with?

Someone you trust. Their traffic will leave through your Internet connection, and websites will see your IP address.
